We're Ramirez Family Construction Group and we've been a premier deck builder and home remodeling service here in Melrose Park, IL, since 2012. We specialize in building decks, remodeling, painting, and home improvement. Our services include countertops, kitchen renovations, basements, fences, and so much more! We personally handle the entire process from estimates to completion, ensuring no work is outsourced. Our Story
We’re Ramirez Family Construction Group, and we’ve been providing quality deck building and home renovation services for Melrose Park and the Chicagoland area since 2019. Our founder, Juan, has been working in the industry since he was a teenager, and has amassed over 25 years of experience and knowledge in the business. We’re a local family owned and operated small business whose mission is to provide an unparalleled level of quality work and customer satisfaction for every project and person that we work with.
We specialize in deck design and construction, remodeling, and painting services with the goal to bring our customers’ visions to life. We use high quality materials and tools on every project we do to provide a long lasting and valuable return on investment for our clients. While we do a little bit of everything, we’re well known around the area for the decks we’ve helped design and create for our friends and community members. Our customers trust us to build and design something amazing, and they know we’ll always be prompt with our work and communication. We’ve gotten so many repeat customers and referrals based off of the work we’ve completed, and building those long lasting relationships means the world to us.

I LOVEEEEEEEE my new deck! Juan did a wonderful job bringing my vision to life. We had family coming in town and he worked around the crazy Plainfield rain and made it happen! I also wanted the stairs to come off of the pool at an angle and even helped us with the rock around the pool that made it sooooooo much better. I would recommended Juan 10000 times over again. Thank you my friend!

I highly recommend this company for so many reasons my deck was beautifully created not only did they build an extended deck but they fixed my existing deck. The craftsmanship was unbelievable 1week that’s all!!! The crew was. Very polite couldn’t have asked for a better crew please review my photos and video because if you want a beautiful deck this company is who to go with hands down !!!

We are so happy with our new deck! Pricing is reasonable, especially considering the quality of the materials and workmanship. The whole experience was great from start to finish honestly. Juan and his crews did excellent work, were always friendly and polite, kept everything clean while they were here and also cleaned up at the end of each day.
Communication was great throughout the project. They were always easy to get ahold of, very patient, and explained everything thoroughly as we worked through any details. They even started and finished earlier than originally estimated, which was great!!
The whole process felt smooth and professional, and we’re very happy with how everything turned out. We will definitely use Ramirez Family Construction again for future projects we will be doing soon.

We initially hired Ramirez Family Construction Group based on a referral from a family member, to replace our dated, worn-out backyard deck. The quality of their work was so exceptional that they have now become our go-to, completing three separate projects for us! After the deck, we brought them back to completely renovate our mudroom, which turned out beautifully. Most recently, they redid our front porch and were incredibly accommodating, working seamlessly around our busy schedule to get the job done. It is rare to find a contractor who is this reliable, skilled, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!
